Community Manager - Job Summary

Manage client social media communities and accounts, coordinating with creative and performance teams to ensure engaging and high-quality content delivery while contributing to campaign planning and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day social channel operations, ensuring communities are brand-safe and aligned with client goals
  • Lead community engagement including comment moderation, sentiment tracking, and insight gathering
  • Monitor conversations and cultural trends, flagging opportunities and risks
  • Deliver social content assets such as monthly calendars and projects in collaboration with creative teams
  • Manage content scheduling using Sprout Social and native platform tools
  • Support reactive content capture like TikTok formats
  • Run social projects end-to-end, managing timelines and deliverables
  • Collaborate across internal teams to meet deadlines and resource needs
  • Serve as a reliable client contact within accounts
  • Contribute to ideation and brainstorming based on community insights and platform trends
  • Write clear briefs translating client needs into creative/social outputs
  • Report on community and content performance, sharing insights and benchmarks
  • Support campaign planning, proposals, audits, and analysis as needed

Requirements

  • Knowledge of social best practices on platforms including Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Pinterest
  • Deep understanding of community interactions such as comments and DMs across platforms
  • Ability to adapt tone of voice per brand
  • Strong project management skills with attention to detail and ownership
  • Understanding of social content quality and trends
  • Creative mindset and confidence in idea expression
  • Collaborative attitude with experience working alongside creative teams
  • Professional client communication skills via email, calls, and in person
  • Ability to develop client-facing plans and reports
  • Previous social media or content marketing experience
  • Nice-to-haves include knowledge of Reddit, Discord, Twitch, agency experience, social media management tools, paid social awareness, influencer experience, and creating lo-fi Reels/TikToks
