Community Manager - Job Summary
The Community Manager will grow and support Supermassive Games' community across Reddit, Discord, Steam, and Twitch, working closely with the community and sharing insights with publishing and development teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow and nurture the Supermassive Games community across Reddit, Discord, Steam, and Twitch.
- Share community sentiment and insights with Social, Development, and Publishing teams.
- Deeply understand the games to communicate authentically with players.
- Engage actively with communities and stay aware of relevant trends.
- Spot and escalate community issues to appropriate teams.
- Provide light customer support by directing players to support channels.
- Research and engage with content creators and relevant gaming communities.
- Identify toxic behaviour and respond appropriately (ban, report, ignore, respond).
Requirements
- Proven experience in community management or a closely related role.
- Experience building, managing, and engaging online communities.
- Confident using Reddit, Discord, Steam, and other key platforms.
- Genuine passion for gaming and player communities.
- Strong written communication and attention to detail.
- Well-organised with ability to capture patterns, feedback, and bugs clearly.
