Social Community Manager - Job Summary
Manage and grow a social community of US parents and caregivers by engaging with audiences across social media platforms, building relationships, and fostering brand loyalty for multiple kids’ entertainment brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and refine the branded tone of voice for US parent audiences
- Monitor and respond to comments and messages on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook
- Initiate conversations and manage Facebook Groups to build community
- Organize and manage online events and activities to increase engagement
- Address audience inquiries and resolve issues professionally
- Identify and engage with target brands, talent, influencers, and thought leaders
- Surprise and engage super fans and influencers with gifts
- Promote a positive and inclusive community environment
- Identify social media trends and insights to inform strategies
- Coordinate with marketing, PR, and other teams for consistent brand messaging
- Collaborate with influencers and community leaders for growth opportunities
- Use community feedback to craft social stories for business units
- Collect user-generated content and manage a content database
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in social media, community, or customer support roles
- Experience with family-focused brands or industry is a plus
- Understanding of community operations across major social platforms
- Ability to work to specified tone of voice and brand-led messaging
- Experience building organic social media followings to drive engagement
- Knowledge of US trends and culture, especially parenting and young kids’ interests
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Understanding of brand, talent, and influencer operations on social media
- Positive attitude and can-do spirit
