Community Manager - Job Summary
Manage and grow a local community around the Vibram Tester Team to strengthen Vibram’s presence and integration in the outdoor and sport ecosystem through authentic engagement and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and grow a local community centered around Vibram Testers and the Tester Team
- Foster interactions between Testers, athletes, outdoor enthusiasts, and the sport community
- Connect Vibram, Testers, and the local Outdoor/Sport ecosystem
- Increase Vibram Boulder’s activity and visibility within the local community
- Develop partnerships with local clubs, gyms, coaches, athletes, events, and opinion leaders
- Host and plan community-driven events such as product testing, sport activities, and educational sessions
- Identify and support Tester personal projects aligned with Vibram’s values and goals
- Provide guidance and visibility for high-potential initiatives
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Innovation & Testing, Marketing & Brand, Sales, and local leadership
- Share community insights to inform product development and marketing strategies
Requirements
- Proven experience in community management, grassroots marketing, events, or sport/outdoor culture
- Strong understanding of outdoor, performance, and/or sport communities
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to operate autonomously
- Natural ability to build authentic relationships with enthusiasm
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and events simultaneously
- Comfortable working in both structured and unstructured environments
- Strong alignment with Vibram’s values: performance, authenticity, innovation, and community
