Social Media Producer & Community Manager - Job Summary
Manage end-to-end creation and execution of social media content for a public figure, including content production, editing, publishing, community engagement, and brand partnership support.
Key Responsibilities
- Film short-form and long-form social content using professional or mobile equipment
- Handle lighting, audio, and framing for various shoot environments
- Capture behind-the-scenes, lifestyle, and brand-partner content discreetly and efficiently
- Edit content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms with platform-native pacing and trends
- Apply color correction, clean audio, and deliver polished final assets
- Adapt long-form content into multiple short-form outputs
- Mine existing content library to create new platform-ready content
- Own posting cadence and scheduling across platforms
- Optimize captions, hashtags, hooks, and posting times
- Ensure brand partnership deliverables meet contractual requirements and deadlines
- Maintain content calendar and deliverable checklist
- Execute sponsored content aligned with brand guidelines
- Coordinate deliverables with internal and external stakeholders
- Track deadlines, revisions, and approvals ensuring disclosures and compliance
- Monitor comments, DMs, and audience sentiment, engaging authentically
- Flag important conversations, opportunities, or risks
- Maintain brand voice while protecting reputation
- Be available for timely shoots tied to events, appearances, or breaking moments
- Travel locally within Westchester and NYC as required
- Provide flexibility around schedule for important content moments
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in social media content production, preferably for a public figure, creator, or brand
- Strong shooting and editing skills (mobile and/or mirrorless)
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, native platform editing tools
- Experience with Dash Social, Meta Business Manager, TikTok for Business
- Experience managing social communities at scale
- Proven ability to meet deadlines without supervision
- Understanding of FTC disclosure rules and brand partnership norms
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, real-world environments
- Must be available to work on-site in Westchester County and New York City
- Flexible availability for shoots tied to appearances or campaigns
- Reliable transportation preferred
