Outreach and Community Manager - Job Summary
Responsible for building, managing, and engaging a community of producers around sustainability and climate action through educational programs, trainings, workshops, and communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Guild leadership on sustainability initiatives and strategic planning.
- Create and execute outreach and engagement campaigns for sustainability tools, educational programs, and resources.
- Design, launch, and manage the Guild's Sustainability Tool Kit.
- Write and provide content for marketing and communications related to sustainability events and programming.
- Convene stakeholder meetings and serve as key day-to-day contact for sustainability alliances.
- Build and maintain partnerships with key sector stakeholders.
- Develop a calendar of engagement opportunities for members around sustainability.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders and internal teams including Sustainability Task Force, Program & Events, Membership, Legal, and Marketing.
- Manage contractors and vendor relationships as needed.
- Ensure all programs and events adhere to sustainable production policies.
- Monitor and refresh sustainability resources and manage content for the sustainability microsite.
- Develop sustainability-focused moments during major PGA events.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of relevant project management experience in film and television events.
- Familiarity with sustainability frameworks for film and television (e.g., Green Production Guide, albert).
- Understanding of the entertainment industry's networks related to producers.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Proven experience in coalition-building and multi-party stakeholder relationship management.
- Diplomacy and ability to navigate competing interests.
Education
BA or MA/MS degree in relevant fields
